Mark Seguin is a sixth generation Texan, able to trace his lineage to ancestors who fought for Texas’ Independence at both The Battle of San Jacinto and The Alamo. Mark continues to fight to keep others informed about the dangers of social media and identity theft. When he was a child, Mark’s own identity was stolen, proving that no matter who you are or where you’re from, thieves can take advantage of unintentional breaches of your personal information.
The time consuming and frustrating experience he encountered on the way to fully restoring his own identity inspired him to not only become a certified identity theft/risk management specialist, but to build a cutting-edge, risk management training and consulting company, TBG Solutions, Inc.

Seguin and his team has helped thousands of people, including students, who are perhaps our most vulnerable, combat risks associated with social media, identity theft, breach prevention safety. Mark is the author of Be Safe in CyberSpace: A Family Guide to Cyber Safety, a step-by-step guide to internet and mobile technology safety.

Mark is a staff development team member for Tyler Junior College, The Better Business Bureau of East Texas and The Tyler Chamber of Commerce in Tyler, Texas. Mark enjoys traveling throughout Texas and the United States to bring his valuable message to others. With his wife, Elizabeth, and their five children, he calls both East Texas and the Pikes Peak region of Colorado home.
