Mark Seguin

Mark Seguin is a sixth generation Texan, able to trace his lineage to ancestors who fought for Texas’ Independence at both The Battle of San Jacinto and The Alamo.  Mark continues to fight to keep others informed about the dangers of social media and identity theft. When he was a child, Mark’s own identity was stolen, proving that no matter who you are or where you’re from, thieves can take advantage of unintentional breaches of your personal information.

The time consuming and frustrating experience he encountered on the way to fully restoring his own identity inspired him to not only become a certified identity theft/risk management specialist, but to build a cutting-edge, risk management training and consulting company, TBG Solutions, Inc.

Mark’s reputation as a social media and identity theft expert and his persuasive, motivational style resonates with audiences from intimate classroom or seminar settings to arenas.  As a key note speaker, Mark can and has addressed more than 15,000 during presentation. He delivers powerful, personal, real-life messages, provides practical experiences and relatable alternatives to change thinking, behavior and perception while navigating the ever changing landscape of technology in our daily lives.

Since 2003, Mark has led a team of educators through TBG Solutions, Inc. Seguin and his team has helped thousands of people, including students, who are perhaps our most vulnerable, combat risks associated with social media, identity theft, breach prevention safety. Mark is the author of Be Safe in CyberSpace: A Family Guide to Cyber Safety, a step-by-step guide to internet and mobile technology safety.

Training programs also include active shooter response, customer service and team building.  Mark is a staff development team member for Tyler Junior College, The Better Business Bureau of East Texas and The Tyler Chamber of Commerce in Tyler, Texas. Mark and his company, TBG Solutions, Inc., are endorsed by TexasISD.com, a leading on-line and trusted source of information and on-going training for Texas educators, where he is also a staff development team member.
